Teop sunset

Another beautiful sunset view of Teop Island. We just have a great view and sunsets, so I seem to always have photos to post. Hope you can enjoy the view through the photos. You would enjoy it even more if you were here though!

Moon at sunset

Sometimes when the sun is rising or setting, it casts a lovely glow on the trees, which never usually looks quite as good when you take a photo of it. Well we had one of those nice views of sunlight on the trees as the sun was beginning to set and the moon was rising, so out came the camera and I got a few photos which I thought were not too bad.

The first photo includes a bit of the village in the foreground, while the second one is zoomed in on the coconut trees and you can see the moon a bit better.

Recently I saw the moon rise over the sea, and it was red, just like the sun when it rises over the sea. I had never seen that before. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo either and I'm not sure when the next opportunity might be, but I'll have to make sure I get a photo next time!

Marvellous views

I never get sick of the beautiful views that we have and even though I’ve taken photos of them before, when I see the view I feel the urge to take another photo of it as it is so beautiful!

These photos were all taken at Teop Island, but looking towards the mainland.

Rebekah took this photo early one morning. It looks really different, almost like a cold place with snow!

Rebekah took this amazing sunset photo too.

Random photos

I don’t have a lot to write about, but they say that a picture is worth 1000 words, so here’s 3000 words for you, with 3 pictures. The thing they have in common is that they were all taken on the same day.

Glorious sunsets

It always seems to be my luck that I am on the east coast and don’t get to see the sun set over the sea and since I am not a morning person, I don’t get up early enough to see the nice sunrise over the sea on the east coast. So I was happy that for once I was on the west coast on this survey trip at Buka and had the opportunity to see nice sunsets over the water. Here are a few of the sunset photos I took.
